Qualifications & Requirements:
Professional Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Indian Chef in luxury hotels, resorts, or fine dining restaurants.
Proven expertise in North Indian and South Indian cuisines; knowledge of regional specialties is a plus.
Experience in menu development, food costing, and kitchen operations.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and presentation.
Ability to create innovative dishes while preserving traditional flavors.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication skills in English; Thai or Hindi language skills are an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency in quality.
Education & Certifications:
Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
Food Safety and Hygiene certification required.
Personal Attributes:
Passionate about Indian cuisine and guest satisfaction.
Creative, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence.
Flexible and adaptable to a multicultural team and island resort environment.
