Job Title: Hotel Manager
Department: Administration
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Layan Soi 2, Thalang, Phuket
Position Summary:
The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring efficient and profitable management, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining high standards in all aspects of the hotel's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee all operations and day-to-day activities of the hotel.
- Ensure the hotel runs efficiently and provides a high standard of service.
- Monitor and maintain operational budgets and financial performance.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth operations.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure staff adhere to health, safety, and hotel policies.
Guest Services:
- Ensure excellent guest service and satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost control measures.
- Ensure accurate billing and accounting processes.
Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase bookings and revenue.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the hotel.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and other partners
Facility Management:
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations of the hotel.
- Ensure the hotel facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement of supplies.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Ensure the hotel adheres to health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of hotel operations.
- Proficient in hotel management software and MS Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
