???? About the Role
As the Assistant Bar Manager, you will play a critical role in the efficient operation of the Bar Department. Working in close collaboration with the Resort Bars Manager, you will ensure guests receive the highest level of service across all Bar outlets, restaurants, and service points. This role demands a hands-on leader who can bridge the gap between high-level strategy and daily operational excellence within Thailand’s vibrant hospitality landscape.

You will be physically involved in all aspects of the operation, acting as a mentor to the service team and ensuring every guest interaction reflects the RIU Brand standards.

???? What You’ll Do
Operational Excellence: Supervise all bar (7 outlets) operations ensuring all outlets are set up perfectly and equipment is maintained through a proactive preventive maintenance program.

Guest Satisfaction: Anticipate guest needs, listen to preferences, and implement "Service Recovery" procedures immediately when issues arise to boost Customer Satisfaction ratings.

Financial: Assist the Resort Bars Manager on controlling inventories of commodities, small equipment, and consumables.

Team Leadership: Support the Resort Bars Manager in planning manning levels, conducting daily/monthly communication meetings, and ensuring staff are trained, motivated, and recognized for their performance.

Quality & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to HACCP regulations, ensuring all storage and service areas are hygienic and safe for both guests and employees.

✔️ What We’re Looking For
Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Bar operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a 4 or 5-star property.

Skills: A "hands-on" management style with the ability to handle administrative tasks and physical floor supervision simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills to navigate multicultural environments.

Education/Certifications: Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management. HACCP certification is highly preferred, alongside mixology or beverage-specific training.

Communication: Strong command of English (spoken and written) & Thai is essential for effective communication with both guests and the local team.
