General Manager, Our Jungle House in Khao Sok, Surat Thani Province

Our Jungle House Resort in Khao Sok is looking for an experienced manager. We maintain 19 bungalows and

treehouses situated along the river, along with a bustling restaurant and tour operation. We are seeking a

dynamic individual to serve as the General Manager of our eco-resort. This key leadership role involves

overseeing all aspects of resort operations while ensuring a strong commitment to sustainability. The ideal

candidate will possess exceptional managerial skills, a passion for hospitality, and a deep appreciation for

environmental conservation.



Responsibilities:

Achievement of financial targets and key indicators of guest experience. Monitor financial performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals.
Implement long and short-term strategic plans to drive sales, marketing, and product quality.
Oversee appropriate hiring, training and motivating of staff. Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team of employees, fostering a positive work environment built on teamwork, mutual respect, and professional growth.
Lead, encourage, and supervise a dynamic team to assure high standards of customer service. Provide strategic leadership and direction to all departments within the resort, including accommodations, dining, recreation, and guest services.
Develop and oversee the implementation of guest experience enhancement initiatives, including nature-based activities, eco-tours, and educational programs.
Oversee resort operations including maintenance and improvement of rooms and facilities.
Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, integrity, and a commitment to the resort's values and mission.


Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, with a focus on ecotourism or sustainable resort management would be a plus.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of employees
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Thai and English, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels. Competent in marketing and social media is a plus.
Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to analyze financial data and make data-driven decisions.
Deep understanding of environmental conservation principles, practices, and regulations, with a demonstrated commitment to sustainability.
Open to both singles and couples.
