Position Purpose
Support room attendants to handle linen, supplies, cleaning etc. as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
• Remove rubbish from the service areas and clean the garbage bins.
• Request room supplies from the storeroom to restock the service pantry.
• Count used linens and deliver to the Laundry section. Pick up clean linens from the Linen room send in pantry maid.
• Assist Room Attendants to set up an extra bed, baby cot and moving furniture upon request.
• Handle guest complaints if possible, or report them to supervisors.
• Clean guest corridor as assigned.
• Clean service pantries and areas in front of service lift.
• Pick up Flowers from the florist Room for the guest rooms.
• Sweep down the fire exits stair on guest floors.
• Clean elevator thresholds and door for guest floors.
• Clean the rain curtain & the mirror all building.
• Take care of cleaning the buggy car.
• Support and be actively involved in the company values.
• Contribute to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisors.
• Stay current with developments in the field of Housekeeping, and make appropriate suggestions and recommendations to Supervisors.
• Be fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language.
• Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required by Supervisors.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of the local Law.
• Interact with guests actively to solicit for their feedback.
• Perform individual’s duties to achieve goals and objectives of the departments.
• Handle guest comments and complaints.
• Attend training session as required.
• Be productive on time, accurate information and quality work.
• Identify and control all aspects of risk management and implement strategies to minimize incidents and accidents.
• Review and update all necessary protective clothing, equipment and utensils to ensure the department is operating with minimal risks.
• Monitor and assist in the review of all workplace incidents and accidents.
• Ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained in a way that reduces risks or harm to anyone.
• Maintain regular attendance in conformance with established standards and work varying schedules as required to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
• Fully comply with STAY rules and regulation for the safe and efficient operation of the hotel facilities.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Diploma plus technical certificate or above in related field.
• Experience: 1 years experience in similar position.
• Being able to understand, read, and write English is enough.
• Ability to read and write.
• Positive approach to customer service.
• Able to handle physically demanding workload.
• Well organized.
• Proven track record in hotel of similar standard in similar capacity.
• In possession of all faculties.
• Pleasant physical appearance.
• Strong resistance.
