About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations across both pre-opening and resort operations at KAIA Koh Phangan. This role is responsible for building strong financial foundations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, supporting business performance, and helping create systems and processes that enable thoughtful and sustainable operations.

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Opening
- Support the setup of financial reporting structures, accounting policies, controls, and operational procedures in line with KAIA standards.
- Assist with the implementation of accounting systems and integration with PMS, POS, and inventory platforms.
- Establish financial workflows, approval processes, and reporting structures.
- Support pre-opening budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
- Coordinate with internal teams, project stakeholders, and Corporate Finance on financial operations and reporting.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of Finance team members.
- Oversee interim Purchasing and Receiving processes for OS&E and FF&E, including procurement coordination, delivery tracking, documentation, and inventory control.
Resort Operations
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end closing.
- Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow, payment processing, and general ledger functions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost control initiatives.
- Coordinate audit activities and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Oversee inventory and purchasing controls, including stock counts, variance reconciliation, and supplier invoice review.
- Provide financial insights and performance analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Lead, guide, and develop Finance team members while fostering a culture of accuracy, integrity, and collaboration.
- Support sustainability initiatives and responsible financial practices across the resort.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Native Thai speaking and able to professional in English.
- Hospitality, resort, or luxury lifestyle experience is preferred.
- Pre-opening experience is a strong advantage.
