Qualifications

Job Responsibilities
Administration
1. Supervise Safety & Security team and ensure proper completion of daily work assignments.
2. Prepare and monitor members’ schedules and attendance.
3. Conduct regular operation meeting to review, monitor, adjust and upgrade the performance of the Safety & Security Department as a whole, as well as explain new directions, policies, and procedures.
4. Prepare the annual operating budget for the department within the guidelines and present to the Talent & Culture Manager.
5. Prepare job responsibilities of the department as well as adjust and update according to the working situation.
6. Attend regular meetings as required by the Management.
7. Recommend improvements and changes to the operation of the department to optimize the financial and Talent & Culture by anticipating events, making clear decisions and showing the path that leads to defined objectives.
8. Ensures all safety & security’s policies and procedures are in place and all reports and records are tracked with the right instruction and accurately.
Operations and Service
1. Supervise activities in the hotel lobby and public areas to ensure that they are maintained free from safety hazards.
2. Perform floor patrols throughout the hotel property to ensure coverage in order to observe and identify potential security and safety issues.
3. Prepare and ensure the implementation of the plan for external traffic to keep the hotel approach area in good order.
4. Handle undesired conduct of guests, patrons and/or employees as well as violations of hotel policies.
5. Respond to emergency cases in coordination with the engineering department and/or other departments and Duty Manager.
6. Conduct fire safety inspections to ensure compliance with the law and the hotel’s rules and regulations.
7. Maintain a logbook on incidents, emergency cases, etc. and refer them, if required, to the appropriate department for follow-up.
8. Perform investigations on incidents and submit a written report on the resolution of the case to the Talent & Culture.
9. Responsible for the supervision of the hotel’s Safety & Security team and contractual Security Guards to ensure that the daily functions and policies are followed according to hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures.
